Our Team
Our 21 Health and Social Care team is dedicated to offering sector-specific services to our candidates and clients alike. We have a wide range of experience in recruiting permanent, part-time, and temporary health and social care staff which is built upon our industry knowledge and interpersonal skillsets. Steven More, our Managing Director, boasts an impressive track record in the sector which includes the following highlights:
- The set up and running of charitable organisations – Steven was involved in the set up and Management of Edinburgh City Youth Café, a specialist award winning youth provision that has been providing a range of services to Children and Young people for over 25 years.
- Set up and management of services provided to young people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness.
- Set up and delivery of services to young people involved in serious and persistent offending in conjunction with voluntary agencies, local authorities, the Police and the Scottish Government.
- Child Protection and Safeguarding which has included work for Local Authorities, State Governments (Queensland, Australia) and large national NGO’s.
- Involved in the planning, implementation of services and service delivery in engaging young vulnerable people to address issues around, housing, employment, and education in conjunction with organisations such as the Prince Trust and Police Scotland, Local Authorities and Voluntary Organisations.


- 20 years’ experience in recruiting Social Work and related staff to all Local Authorities in Scotland on both a temporary and permanent basis.
- The set up and implementation of Care at Home and Housing Support Services provision for Local Authorities.
- A proven track record in recruiting individuals for Senior Leadership roles within Local Authority, Private Care and Voluntary Sector Organisations on both a contract and permanent basis.
- The setup, delivery and recruitment of bank, relief and crisis care staff in conjunction and for Local Authorities and Voluntary organisations.
- Steven was also the co-founder and Director of one of Scotland’s most prominent Health and Social Care recruitment agencies. After almost 17 years, Steven has recently left this company to set up 21 Health and Social Care where we aim to continue and enhance providing dedicated and unique staffing solutions and positive outcomes to the sector.
